Making An Appointment

Appointments may be scheduled on-line using our appointment scheduler or by telephone.

Online appointments can be scheduled up to 2 hours in advance at participating locations of your Live Scan. However, we do experience peak periods and suggest applicants schedule their appointment at least a day in advance.

If our Live Scan Technicians are assisting other applicants or unavailable, please leave a voice mail message with the following information: your name, hiring agency, and daytime and evening telephone numbers so we can promptly follow-up.

If the appointment is made on the telephone, we will request portions of the information provided on the Request For Live Scan Service form along with a confirmed Live Scan appointment date and time.

Arrive Early For The Live Scan Appointment
Upon your arrival and checking-in at the front desk, one of our Live Scan Technicians will ask you for your completed Request For Live Scan Service form along with a valid picture ID. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. The form’s information will be entered into the Live Scan system. Afterward you will be informed of any applicable charges, which may DOJ/FBI (CACI if applicable) and the associated Live Scan Center’s rolling fees.

After obtaining your fingerprints and demographic information, the data will be electronically transmitted to DOJ for processing.

Appointment Cancellation
If it become necessary to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible, at (888) 498-4234. If the Live Scan Technician is serving another applicant or unavailable, please leave a message. Include your name, telephone number, and the date and time of the appointment to be canceled.

Also indicate if you need to have your call returned to schedule another appointment, otherwise, we will assume that you will re-schedule your appointment using the on-line appointment scheduler
